Our Love Story
How We Met
Paige and Patrick met on a cold January weekend in 2023. At the time, Patrick's childhood best friend, Laine, was dating Paige's best friend, Stivia. They are now engaged and getting married in 2027.
After Laine got to know Paige, he had a hunch that Patrick and Paige would get along very well. He hatched a plan for them to meet without telling either of them. He put together a birthday ski-trip weekend getaway for Laine and Stivia with a group of friends in Stowe, Vermont.
It turns out, Laine was right. All it took was Patrick and Paige being in the same room for their magnetic connection to spark.
By the end of the weekend, Patrick had decided this girl is my girlfriend, she just doesn't know it yet. Luckily for him, Paige was thinking the same thing.
Our First Date
At the time, Patrick was living in New Hampshire and Paige was living in Rhode Island. Patrick knew he had to make their first date incredible. He could not risk messing things up with this incredible woman.
Their first-date adventure started with go-karts, followed by an amazing dinner at Capriccio in Rhode Island and drinks at Marcelino's. Then Patrick revealed the surprise: a handmade First Date Trivia game. He had made the question cards himself, each one designed to spark deeper conversations and see if the two were truly compatible for the long term.
It was a hit.
The Proposal
If Paige could only choose one country in the world to travel to for the rest of her life, it would be Italy. Patrick knew it was the perfect place to propose, and he narrowed it down to Lake Como.
On the big day, they took a private sailboat tour of the lake and stopped by Villa Melzi in the small town of Bellagio.
The weather was perfect, Paige looked incredible, and she said yes.
Looking Forward
Now, we're ready to start the next chapter of our love story together as husband and wife. We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with all the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our journey!
